Project Description:

Hale Wharf Phase 2 comprises 8 blocks of different heights and typologies (up to 9 storeys) to provide 201 residential dwellings together with a small area of commercial space and associated external spaces.

The Hale Wharf site is located directly on the River Lea Navigation and is surrounded by water on two sides. 

The construction is traditional in nature with a piled foundation solution, concrete frame and brickwork cladding.

Key Challenges:

• Proximity to the River Lea and River Lea Navigation.

• Constraints associated with the above plus all construction traffic movements are through Phase 1

• Slim site thus promoting access and maintenance challenges post construction e.g., MEWP positioning

• High Rise construction and façade installation.
